At its 49th session in October 2017, the Technical Advisory Committee established a Subgroup on High Performance Computing Facilities and nominated Dieter Schroeder (Germany as its Convenor, its terms of reference to be as follows:

to review the procurement approach for the provision of the high performance computing facilities (HPCF);

to review the outcome of the evaluation process and the proposed solution
